The English Standard Version (ESV) is an essentially literal, word-for-word translation published by Crossway in 2001 as a revision of the Revised Standard Version. It reads clearly while staying close to the wording of the original Hebrew and Greek, so it is a common choice for study, preaching and memorization.
Choose ESV study Bibles, ESV journaling Bibles, reader's, single column and wide margin editions, pocket, compact, thinline and large print Bibles, church Bibles, economy and outreach Bibles and New Testaments, and Bibles for kids.
